Japanese card.

I have a 23 yo stepson who served a mission for our church in Japan. For his last birthday on his mission, I made him this card. The sun and the "altar" thing were cut from the destinations cart. I inked the rays of the sun, apricot and orange to give them dimension. The big and live words are from a SU! stamp set.

Then with my gypsy I designed the little gift envelope. Isn't it cute? Scuffed it with a blue SU! stamp pad. Then I cut a red heart out on my cricut, and then I cut the exact same heart out of magnet material. I adhesived the red heart to the magnet, and then I cut "Japan" out from the Lyrical Letters cart (love this cart), and glued the letters on to the heart.

I was so proud of this project. Glad I took a picture of it. His birthday was in Feb, gave it to him when he got home in Mar, and he promptly lost it.
